The 2008 Sailfish 2360 Center Console is widely regarded by offshore anglers as a "big" 23-footer, largely due to its high freeboard and the aggressive Variable Degree Stepped (VDS) hull. This design features three different deadrise angles, starting at a sharp 24 degrees to cut through waves and flattening out toward the transom to provide stability when you're trolling or anchored.

Design and Fishability
The cockpit is designed with a deep-V layout that provides a very secure feeling when fishing in rougher Atlantic or Gulf waters. It is heavily armed for fishing, featuring a large 30-gallon transom livewell and massive insulated fish boxes under the forward seating. One of its standout traits is the "toe rail" along the cockpit floor, which allows you to lock your feet in while leaning over the gunwale to bring in a catch.

Construction and Layout
The Bow: The 2360 offers a versatile bow area. It has recessed low-profile bow rails and a large storage compartment in the floor. Most models came with removable cushions that transform the casting deck into a comfortable social area.

The Console: The console is oversized for a boat of this length, offering a walk-in head compartment with enough room for a porta-potti and easy access to the back of the electronics wiring.

The Helm: It typically features a leaning post with integrated rod holders and a removable cooler underneath. The dash is large enough to accommodate twin 10-inch or 12-inch displays.

Performance
Most 2008 models are powered by either a single Yamaha F250 or twin F150s. While the single engine is efficient and reaches speeds in the low 40-mph range, the twin 150 setup is highly popular for offshore runs, providing extra peace of mind and a top speed closer to 50 mph.

The "Dry Ride" Reputation
Sailfish built this era of boats with a significant flare at the bow. This helps push spray out and away from the boat rather than letting it blow back into the cockpit. It remains a popular choice on the used market because it offers the offshore capabilities of many 26-foot boats while remaining easy to trailer and maintain.
