I picked up my machine at the local thrift store, never used. I drink tons of sparkling water, which is expensive. So using filtered water and adding lime juice I was able to mimic Perrier in an instant.
At the listed price for a flavor bottle that makes 12 liters it's comparable to purchasing 6 store-brand 2 liter sodas. Adding the cost of refilling a cartridge I would say they are the same economically. However, it completely eliminates the problem of all those empty plastic bottles which is totally worth it.
Plus, I absolutely love that you can add super carbonation.

I have seen this product in the stores and I just passed it by. However, while at a boat show, I tried this product and I was floored. I hate diet soda, but the diet soda I tasted from this product was great. I never knew that making my own soda could be so much fun and easy.
