This is a very strong and secure ladder making reboarding my 18' outboard boat from the water following a swim, snorkel, or scuba adventure very easy and safe for both children and adults (even elderly adults). I have it mounted on the stern next to the outboard where it can be flipped up when not in use. I use a trolling motor strap to secure it in its upright folded (not-in-use) position.
