3M Perfect-It Rubbing Compound is designed to remove P1200 and finer scratches with either a 3M wool pad or foam compounding pad. This non-gritty formula works on all types of paints, leaving a fine finish. To reduce compounding time, use P3000 Trizact abrasive discs to refine the sand scratches prior to compounding.
For faster cut and less heat use 3M Superbuff III Wool Pad (SKU 129551) or 3M Perfect-It III Wool Compounding Pad (SKU 129550)
To eliminate lint and achieve a finer finish use 3M Perfect-It Foam Compounding Pad (SKU 206262)
Work a 2 x 2 area at a time
Suggested buffer speed: 1,200 - 2,000 rpm
