Best Uses
- Saltwater Fishing
I fish off the coast of Southeastern NC,and have so for the past 16 years. Starting out pier fishing and now fishing from my own boat, but in all the years, I have found some reels and rods the most dependable has been my Penn reels. Due to the saltwater, regardless of rinsing them off after every time out I still have them serviced yearly. This has kept them in the working manner that they are. Some reels I'm referring to are over 10 years old. One in particular is a Penn 20T, during the U.S.Open King Mackerel Tournament we landed a 84.2lb. Wahoo. This isn't the only large fish that I've caught while using a Penn reel, but it's to show their durability.
