Salt Away did part of the flushing job. It didn't get into the powerhead. Top Down Power Flusher cleans from powerhead down to lower unit. Back flushes the harmful deposits out of the motor. TDPF is inexpensive and easy to permanently install on outboard. It's the best way to flush your motor clean.

I use this stuff after every trip in the intercoastal water way. Definitely helps preserve the life of a ski boat. I'd recommend it to anybody... just don't spill it on your seats/carpet. The blue dye really stains.
