I'm a recreational fisher/skier/tuber. For the price this device works great. It gives fairly accurate depths and lets me know where the fish are. Don't expect a big screen, but it shows up well in sunlight.

I use it on a 10' jon boat and installed the transducer on the bottom of the trolling motor (mount comes with unit). Screen is small but so is the price and the color is great. Not sure why the cover doesn't come with it, so bought it extra.

Although small, the unit performs well and does what it should. However, it does not come with a manual. I have two of the same exact same units and with both of them I had to learn much of their usage by trial and error.
