I like this product because you can hook it up to your motor and in minutes it automatically extracts the oil. So much easier than a hand pump. This is a great product.

The pump is not strong enough for my 8.1 L engines. It took over 30 minutes to pump each engine. The tube that is inserted into the dipstick should have an optional threaded end that I could have attached directly to the dipstick.

Thus far, the product has failed to perform as advertised. Although not apparent, I thought that maybe the line was blocked. However, when I disconnected the line and forced air through it, I found that it was clear. Pump runs, just no suction, and yes, the vent was open and the engine had been run as recommended.

I use this for my boat (a runabout with a V8) and two jet-skis. It works well. If I had to do it over again, I would probably purchase the slightly more expensive model, which appears to be more heavy duty/durable. I have not had any problems with this one though.
