TEST OPERATION OF UNIT: To "test" the unit when ambient air temperature is above 45oF you must simulate an ambient below 45F. To create the simulation: With the heater unit plugged into a 120V power source, locate the 1/2" dia. hole marked "Test" on the end cover of the unit. Using the 6 oz. can of Freeze Mist spray supplied with your heater, insert the "straw" into the nozzle and spray a 2-3 second burst of mist into the "Test" hole. This will "trick" the thermostat into turning the heater "ON". After a period of time (30 sec. - 3 min.), the ambient temperature of your test environment will resume control of the thermostat and turn your heater "OFF".
