I bought this utility pump in 2010 to replace one I bought in 1987, that will give you an idea how durable it is. The handle on my old one broke, but the piston and valve still worked perfectly after 23 years. I've used it to drain a small garden pond, drain aquariums, dispense plant food from huge jugs, suck the air out of vacuum storage containers, and create Halloween props with gushing slime. This hand pump does EVERYTHING. No household should be without.
