Works great for my purpose. I have a bunk trailer and use it to pull boat on (last 4 feet).
I nicked a prop when driving boat fully on trailer. My Uncle (fishing buddy 78 years old) could not crank boat on trailer. He uses hip boots to hook-up boat. Then walks away from boat and uses remote control to finish the job. My boat is a 26' Searay Amberjack with 10 ft beam and 6000 plus pounds. ALSO, now I can use boat by myself without any help. I LOVE IT.

we have a tundra truck the cable that came with it is not long enough from the battery to the back of the truck to have it hook up so we have a battery we use just for the boat but as far as the winch its great pulling the boat up love it

No more problems putting boat on the trailer. Just back the trailer in, put on the hook and push the remote. No more fighting. Well worth it. Best thing is that all watch with envy!!!
