Comments about Shakespeare 4357-S Base-Loaded AM / FM / VHF Separator:
I bought the radio for my 21 foot bayliner fishing boat. The splitter allowed me to use my VHF antenna for my am/fm radio. It was simple to install and doesn't impede my VHF radios functioning. I highly recomend this product, and have no negative statements about it.

Comments about Shakespeare 4357-S Base-Loaded AM / FM / VHF Separator:
As I mounted the VHF radio right next to the AM/FM stereo receiver, I didn't need a long connecting cable between the filter unit and the receiver. Who wants excess cable coiled up behind the panel. It would have been nice to have a male plug, similar to the coax, that I could have cut to the proper length and terminated myself, customizing the installation.
