Good value for the price, it's not as bright as some of the others on the market but it's also alot less expensive and it is definitely bright enough to get the attention of rescuers on a dark night. Clips onto lifevests and appears to be a sturdy built light. Good for the recreational boater. If you venture offshore/blue water spend the extra money on the top of the line light. As a helicopter law enforcement and search pilot I strongly recommend having some type of light on your lifevest otherwise it's like searching for a needle in a haystack.
