Today's jigging techniques with metal jigs and braided line requires tough light weight gear. That is why we have matched Penn Spinfishers with Outer Banks New jig spin rod. Spool the 550SSg with 100 yds. of mono and then top it off with 30 lb. braid. Use 100yds of 15 lb mono as backing on the 650SSm and then add 50 lb. braid to finish filling the spool. Our jig rod has plenty of backbone with its T glass graphite construction, Fuji Hardloy guides & tip top plus a Fuji reel seat. Made to the same exacting specifications as all Custom Power sticks, these rods are strong yet extremely light weight and will make your battle with any bottom dweller quicker with less strain.
