This commitment continues today with a full spectrum of Internationals designed and built to handle most anglers needs. Start with the reel's heart and soul - its powerful lever drag system with HT100 drag washers. The same material used to brake landing aircraft. The lever system makes it possible to pre-set tension to safe limits, then within a 120 degree arc engage or disengage the drag system or apply additional pressure. It also has set stops free-spool, strike and full drag pressure. All Internationals are machined one-piece aluminum frames, a forged aluminum spool, tempered stainless steel gearing, and sealed stainless steel ball bearings.

We started with our Tournament Tested, Big Fish Proven Custom rod blanks and made improvements. We added more strength and flexibility to our tubular E-glass blanks. From the reel seat through the 2nd Guide we added an outer wrap of multi-directional woven graphite cloth in the finest weave to insure you get incredible lifting power and uncompromising durability. Just like all of our Tournament rods, only the best components and workmanship are used in building each rod. Built with all AFTCO Heavy Duty or Wind on Black anodized roller guides, regular or Big Foot roller tip-tops, Stuart Black & Gold integrated machined aluminum detachable butts with gimbals & reel seats plus tapered Hypalon foregrips. We chose the more expensive hypalon fore grips because they are extremely durable, comfortable and water resistant. Hypalon is softer than EVA and does not retain dents or marks like EVA does. Each guide is carefully triple hand wrapped for superior contrast and beauty. Using a unique gold metallic thread creates our check wraps on each guide and tip. Our custom diamond foregrip wrap uses a unique gold metallic thread plus black thread to create an elegant and distinctive diamond foregrip wrap over the finely woven graphite cloth. This makes these rods as unique as any IGFA rod built. Each rod receives several coats of lustrous, clear high quality UV-resistant epoxy for good looks and long durability. Leather bags protect each of these rods.
