Comments about Nikon 180mm f/2.8 ED IF AF Lens:

I always wanted a lense like this but could never afford one. I'm the new photographer at a college and I always watched the previous photographer but he never used this lens. So, I was extremely suprised when I opened a file cabinet full of equipment and this lens was among that equipment. I've been using it ever since and even landed another job because of my sports photos! I'm definitely buying my own ASAP!

Comments about Nikon 180mm f/2.8 ED IF AF Lens:

I purchased the one I have in 1993 when I got my N90's and continued to use it on my D1H and D2H that I had been shooting with and plan on using it on the new D300 Im about to purchase. Its a tuff sweet shooting light weight lens and have never had any problems with it.It was one of the first AF lens I had owned to use alongside my old NIKKOR ED 180 which was heavier and was not AF which I got in the early 80's and still shoots just fine too.It shoots tight for sports and it's dependable for all news photography.15 years later it's still kicking butt.
