Comments about Nikon R1 Wireless Close-Up Speedlight Outfit:

It makes a ring flash look like a model T Ford. It is all you need in a lighting system. Get six SB-R200's add one or two SB-R800's and then sit back and create some of the most incredible lighting situations you can think of.

Will get the SU-800 remote commander when the "rumored" Nikon D10 FX comes out:)

Comments about Nikon R1 Wireless Close-Up Speedlight Outfit:

I use the R1 Wireless system for portraits with my Nikon D200, it works great!, very easy to set it up. They are not very fast, in between shoots takes a couple of seconds to charge for the next shoot, and the batteries don't last very long, I wish they could be rechargable.

But I do recomend this flashes, they also work great with close up, and very easy to carry almost anywhere.
