This is WELL worth the price! It does the job perfectly. It was purchased for bird watching and my 11 year old son put it on the tripod without a bit of help. We use it daily! If you are looking for one, why pay more?

This item works great on larger binoculars. It does not work on most "roof prism" or "non poro prism" binoculars. The barrels are too close together for the attachment knob to turn.
It does not work on my Nikon Monarch 8x42.
