Okuma's blade body design narrows the profile of the reel's frame. This feature reduces weight eliminating the extra mass and bulk of the reel, giving it a much lighter and compact design with a strikingly sharp appearance. The ultra smooth Epixor features ten ball bearings. The materials and manufacturing are of the highest quality, and yet these reels do not reside in the stratospheric price range of their contemporaries.
 | EFR II : The Even Flow Roller System utilized a ball bearing under the line roller to maximize efficiency. This roller helps reduce line twists by freely rolling over the line roller without friction. Without this feature line will naturally twist when drag is pulled. |
 | RES II : The RES II System stands for Rotor Equalizing System. This second generation RES System incorporates a computer balanced weight precisely placed in the rotor. This weight allows for precision balance and eliminates all spool wobble for perfect alignments and smooth cranking. |
