Comments about Quantaray SLR Holster Hard Case, Black:

I got the smaller version of this because it's cheaper, however after trying to fit my Pentax K-x SLR into it with the strap I wish I'd gotten the bigger size. I have to take the lens off for everything to fit. Otherwise, the case is excellent-I don't worry about it getting damaged since the case is hardened. There are two smaller pockets on the site, a larger pocket in front and on the inside there is a mesh pocket on the top flap that zippers open (perfect for memory cards, etc.) If you have a smaller camera than an SLR this is the perfect case.

Comments about Quantaray SLR Holster Hard Case, Black:

I picked this up in-store and the salesperson confirmed that, since it is designed for Quantaray brand cameras, it is actually too small to fit most DSLR bodies. We tried it in the store with the Nikon D90 and kit lens (the larger zoom one) and it's true, it doesn't close. But I bought it anyway on a hunch, and I was right -- with the 50mm lens I usually keep on my Nikon D80, this bag DOES work -- barely. I don't think it would fit anything larger, but I was looking for the smallest possible case to protect my camera while traveling, and this is what worked for me. The small pockets have just enough room for cell phone, some cash and ID/credit cards... and that's pretty much it.

I give it 3 stars because I wish it had slightly more pocket space and the quality is only average (the zippers tend to catch, etc.). But I like the look and size, and it does what I need it to do for now.

Although it was made for a camera with a 200 mm lens, it is too tight a fit, making the zippers stiff and difficult to close. I am not satisfied and will be returning it.

Comments about Quantaray SLR Holster Hard Case, Black:

This camera bag is sold specifically for digital SLR cameras, however mine won't fit in the bag. I have a Nikon D80, which is a fairly common digital SLR and with the lens attached, but no camera strap it is too big to fit in the bag. Maybe with a smaller lense you could squeeze it in. I'm using an 18-200 zoom, and it just wont go. Also the zipper sticks something awful. I'm returning mine.
