ACR Firefly 3 Waterbug Strobe
The Waterbug features a special water activation feature which automatically activates light should wearer fall into the water. This rescue strobe is a new product, conceived as state-of-the-art replacement for the famous Firefly forerunners. ACR designed the Waterbug as an electronic flare to replace day/night pyrotechnic signal in aviation life rafts. An omni-directional 360 degrees high intensity Xenon strobe is visible for up to 3 miles. The newly-designed base platform allows unit to stand upright easily and a large sliding switch allows for easy operation with gloved hands. A stainless steel retainer securely attaches removable battery door to case and integral strapping slots provide a secure anchor point. The durable polycarbonate case is waterproof to 200 ft (61 m) and has an operational life of at least 8 hours on either 2 AA alkaline or 1.5V lithium batteries (not included). Fully USCG and SOLAS approved. 1 year limited warranty.
