ZipShot is a compact, ultra-light tripod that springs open in seconds. Because it's so portable, it can be taken along anywhere to capture the great shots you've been missing. The most unique feature of ZipShot is that its legs spring open in seconds. ZipShot is also incredibly lightweight - only 11 ounces and it conveniently folds to 15-inches in length. It supports DSLRs weighing up to three pounds, point-and-shoot cameras and camcorders. Where has this been all my life!
I've been lugging a 3+ pound tripod in the wilderness for years. What a load of my back this is. Just right for my use although my camera weight is borderline for the weight this will hold. I just tie some cord between the bottom of the legs to keep them from spreading apart sometimes.

I live in Gary, Indiana on February 2nd, we just had the Blizzard of 2011, almost 20" of snow. Well I shoveled, snowblowed & snowpictured.
I put my camera on my zipshot tripod! People wanted to know how I did it?

My husband & I were tired of having photos of just one of us. We went on vacation and had so much fun taking all kinds of pictures of the 2 of us. The tripod is not extremely sturdy so I would not take it to the beach or use it on windy days.

Love the flexibility with this little travel tripod. Can't use it with longer lens on SLR, but perfect for our digital video camera.
