Extends easily, hung a 20# object from it and it held. Locks were positive and It will hold my 7# combo with no problem. This thing is feather light!!

I recently purchased this Monopod about 2 weeks ago, while vacationing in San Diego.. This Monopod is VERY lite 10/10, quality is a 9/10, easy to use 8/10, and fit very well in my luggage. Only Con I have is the price, a little pricey. ([$])

While at a basketball game I had the pleasure of using this monopod. It is lightweight and uses little space when in tight quarters. Just what I needed for that.

Just got this for Christmas. I've been wanting a decent monopod for a while now and unfortunately this is not it. It is very difficult to extend properly without the leg units separating... it basically falls apart. Even if you manage to get it to extend fully any pressure you put on it causes the segments to collapse. Not useful nor handy for any level of photographer... especially for those above the entry level. You spend far more time fiddling and fixing then sucessfully using it. Save your money, buy a cheaper, more rugged and better engineered aluminum model.
This is getting returned tomorrow morning.
