I really enjoyed using this product during Bluebonnet season! I was able to take some amazing shots of bluebonnets up-close and personal, getting very good details. The only issue I had was if a gust of wind blew just I was taking the picture, my shot would be blurry and I would have to re-focus and snap again before another wind came through. Another problem is it doesn't work too well when zooming in-and-out. You have to have the camera right up near your subject to snap the picture and a lot of the times you need to use "Manual Focus". Other than that, I was satisfied with this product. Worth the money.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great product for the money. Produces a great effect without going out and spending big bucks on a macro lens. Takes fantastic picture with my d80.

I do not like this filter at all, I will be trying to return it tomorrow. The only time it works is if you are right up on your subject, like 3 inches away, and even then it is blurry and out of focus.

this filter is amazing. You are able to get close shots that are in focus and are stunning to look at. I have several filters from this company but this filter is by far my favorite
