Comments about Quantaray Skylight 1A Filter:
I'm new to the DSLR world. I purchased this filter for protection.
*It does protect the lens
*It's very well made.
**The only thing you may need to know is that a skylight filter will very slightly cause a warmer feel to your picture. The sky will be a little less blue....but the color change will not be very drastic with this filter. I didn't know that when purchasing it, but was just looking for protection.
