Hooked on a spinner, Lindy rig, light jig or weightless hook, the Nightcrawler looks like the real thing and smells even better. And because Gulp! baits are so durable, more time is spent fishing and catching instead of rigging and re-rigging. "In experiments conducted at the Berkley laboratory and in field tests by anglers across the country, the Nightcrawler actually outfished live bait," said noted angler and TV host Al Lindner. "I found in my fishing that the fish bit more often when I used Gulp! and they never seemed to let go of the bait. I think they were actually trying to eat it instead of spitting it out."
