i used the 30 for pushing my 12 foot alum boat.
it worked good, but then the wires burned up.
the warrenty was not honored. i was told i ran it for to long of a period.

i know its not made for saltwater but i use it anyway and rinse after each use I hope it holds up cause its a darn good motor . does anyone else use it in salt water?

there is no better motor for the price and its alot cheeper than its competitors.

seriously a great deal when deals are hard to come by.
i love it and im verry satisfied

I was very skeptical about the 30lbs. thrust on this Motor, asking my self " is this enough power? I bought it any way to find out. Man was I wrong, It is more than enough. I just wished that it came in more colors.

This is the second Minn Kota motor I have had. The new features of the telescopic handle, and the longer shaft length on this motor make this one more adaptable for use with different styles of boats.I use this motor on a 14 foot rowboat as well as a tolling/ kicker motor on a 16 foot fish/ski boat . I would recommend this motor to anyone.
