Have a 15ft Smoker Craft with a 15hp 4 stroke Mercury and first time trolling without a trolling plate it was way to fast for trolling for Kokanne. Bought a Lil Fella trolling plate and it worked great. Slowed the boat right down, cought plenty of Kokanee and Rainbow trout.The trolling plate did what it was supposed to do.

I had a happy troller that came with my boat and it was clearly to big for my 15 hp suzuki. Dropping that old plate down was about like putting my motor in neutral. The Lil Fella was exactly what I needed. It slows me to the perfect trolling speed and still allows me to have great control in the wind. I Went out last night and caught a 10 lb steelhead on the columbia made possible by the Lil Fella. This is a great product and worth every penny if your a small boat fisherman looking for big fish.
