Comments about Dry Launch Dry Launch Lighting Kit:

This is a good product overall. The main reason I purchased this kit was to replace my rear lights for my jet ski trailer. The design for the rear lights is the best I have seen so far, the air trapping design really does keep the water completely out and allows proper ventilation at the same time since the rear lights are completely open on the bottom part of each fixture, all of the wiring contacts are in the light fixture where the water does not make contact due to the air trapping design, the mounting screws do not penetrate the light fixture for mounting thus leaks or corrosion from this part are greatly minimized (the rear lights each have a special groove on the back that allow you to slide the lights over the bolt heads of the included bolts that come with the kit thus providing a perfect mount), most of the parts including the light bulb mount are plastic which also greatly minimizes corrosion, the bulbs are bright and easy to see. I found the side marker lights to be useless. It was unclear on how to mount them in the first place and the instructions did not help, plus the side lights are not air trapping designed so I just kept them as spares to collect dust on the shelf. For the side markers, I ended up going to a local sporting goods store and buying some inexpensive amber colored LED side markers that were water sealed (the wiring contacts on the back of these LEDs are not water sealed but the LED lights are). I would have liked to have seen a version of this kit that came with the trailer wiring and air trapping designed side markers. If I could have done it all over again, I would have probably done everything with LED but my only concern about an LED system is that the wiring contacts on the back of the LED lights are not water sealed and may corrode over time.
