These lights came on my 1998 loadmaster trailer and lasted 5 years until me bashing one and then breaking one changing a bulb finally forced me to replace. The innards of the lights were still almost totally void of corrosion after 5 years. Definitely worth the extra bucks. The skirt on the housing really does keep water out
