I bought this as a replacement starter switch on my Evinrude 9.9 it fit the engine just like the original. It could have used a boot on the wire contact end for waterproofing, I had to make one from stretch tape and silicon seal. [$]

I recommended this switch to a friend who needed a N.C. momentary switch to turn off his trailer lights when passing. He ordered one and received a N.O. switch.
