The product was purchased in Germany and used in Norway with Great Success. I have 2 of the rods that are different lengths. The 2.10m and 2.40m 80lb. rods were used to catch Atlantic Cod, Ling, Halibut, Coalfish and other species that occaisionally took the lures. They were fished vertically with pilker and also with multi rigg leaders. More than once, I found myself bringing 4 fish to the surface from 120m and deeper. The rods were sensetive enough that I felt the fish as they took the lures. Dropping the line over the side of the boat and as it fell, the sequentual thud as a fish would grabb the lures. I am Very satisfied with the ability to transport these rods without worry of the guides. Placing them in travel tubes is always a concern as the airlines are not very careful. I Highly Reccomend this type of rod to fishermen and women that need Dependable equipment that is travel friendly.
