I've been searching for an 8 footer that has a great action, is lightweight, and has most of that 8 feet as rod rather than handle. This Falcon is a fantastic rod - it's my favorite! Very durable, great sensitivity, and you can cast a mile with that 8 feet of length. I've paired it with a Shimano Symetre 4000 reel using Powerpro line and it's a killer combo. I'm going to buy another setup exactly the same as a backup.
