(based on 4 ratings)
Brand: Shimano
Located in: spinning reels
Like all Shimano reels, Corvalus is evaluated to meet the same standards as their top-of-the-line models. With smoothness, durability and functionality inherent in the design, all one has to do is focus on the fish being pursued. The Variable Brake system uses centrifugal force to control the cast increasing distance and adjustability. The Super Stopper is a one way roller bearing that eliminates backplay providing solid hooksets. All metal frame and sideplates.

Comments about Shimano Shimano Corvalus CVL400 Baitcast Reel:

I have fished the Western Gulf Coast for 20 years. I demand a reel that can stand up to harsh salt water conditions. For the past year, the CLV400 has meet that challenge.

I've had less expensive reels that were better performers,on this reel I have to constantly disassemble it to repair the clutch bar, this is very frustrating , especally when i'm on the water fishing .
