Comments about Shimano Shimano Chronarch CH100BSV Low Profile Salwater Baitcast Reel:

I have two Chronarch reals. Each spring, for ten years, we go to the Chrchill River Saskachewan, Canada for two weeks. What you bring is what you have for the trip. Those two reals have never failed. They work as advertized and mated with a comparable rod they are a pleasure to fish with. All I have ever done is clean, the best I can, and lub. They have been totaly reliable. It satisfies the adage you get what you pay for. I'm sure that in two week, I put more use on those reals then most owners do in a life time.

Comments about Shimano Shimano Chronarch CH100BSV Low Profile Salwater Baitcast Reel:

A very durable well built baitcaster. They don't come any better than Shimano. It's a little heavy if your into all day grinding while wade fishing. For that it is my opinion that a Shimano Chonarch 50 MG or Curado 100 BSV would be best.
