Comments about Penn Penn SV2000 Silverado Spinning Reel:

alright first offi received this reel for free for winning the cape may COUNTY fishing tournament, wasnt for reeling in a perch i caught a 50 pound wahoo on a slow troll with a mono liter, anyone knows anything about wahoo they swim fast and dont hesitate they swim 70 miles a hour or something really fast and take take the bait and run on top of that they have razor sharp teeth hard to keep fromm bitting the line right off(try going shark fishing with a mono liter)any way they gave me this cheezy reel and in 2 weeks the bearing r preety much shot and it makes a clickin noise when reelin in, peen used to be the best out,but i woulod say there rep is long gone, cant keep up with comp. and i know this model is one of the cheaper ones but still go get a cheap shimano or shakespeare they'll last at least 6 months,if not forever (depending on what kind of fishin u do and how often) i guess my point is u had an exceelent name for quality. You should keep it by manufacturin more durable things, and if it has to be expensive so be it why put out a cheap reel [...]. My dad who is my boss always told me aint nuthing good cheap and aint nuttin cheap good. KNow i now that u make it so it is more affordable to buy. But really all ur doing is making a custmer pay more. One of these reels [...] only last 5 fishing trips(no lie,and im not some moron that abuses my stuff , Ifish off a boat never dropped it overboard ,and clean it with freshwater when i get in i even oiled the 3rd time using it b/c i noticed it was messed up)and then they got to buy another one [...]
