This is a truly a great reel for light salt water fishing. I use 20LB test and it cast father than my Penn 146 with 10LB test, I say close to 75 yards. I have had 2 reels for many years and have never had a problem. I don't have much free time so they are poorly maintain and still look like new.

I have had two of these reels now and used them a combined 2 times because I have learned that the bearings fry easily, worst buy of my fishing career
