I have this mounted on a 14 inch fixed pedalstal in 19 foot aquasport.I like the design and user friendly spider. So far no problems with it. Good construction as well.

I had replace the original slider portion of the seat base because the adjustment knob corroded from salt water spray and became frozen in the side of the slider. The first owner of the boat used it in salt water for 7 years. This new seat "spider is a perfect replacement. It was easy to install, since the hole pattern is the same. The swivel collar that fits around the seat post seems better than the original. Finally, the price was reasonable, especially since I did not want to replace the entire seat base. I would buy this item again, but hopefully I won't have to.
