    This switch failed after one year of use, which was very disappointing considering the price. I had water damage to the boat due to the switch failure. There are better products.

    Had a hose clamp break and started flooding engine compartment in rough water. Regular lever model float switch broke when being hit with sloshing water. Thank God I was able to turn pump on manually. Won't happen with this new switch because of the beauty of not having moving parts. Easy to test that it is working by placing your fingers over the sensor areas and observing the pump kicking on. It's about time we used our techology to build a reliable float switch, instead of the cheap plastic(over priced) junk that's out there that is supposed to be for SAFETY.

    I have replaced all of the bile pump switches on all of our boats with theses switches ... nothing available today is better!

    I have equipped all of the bilge pumps with the Johnson Pump switches and check valves to minimize the bile water in the boats. Everything is working exactlyly as expected!

    I WANTED A SWITCH THAT DIDN'T HAVE MOVING PARTS AND THAT WAS EASY TO INSTALL. WHERE MINE IS LOCATED IS VERY DIFFICULT TO ACCESS. IT WORKS REALLY GREAT. IT COMES ON AUTOMATIC OR I CAN SWITCH IT TO MANUAL. I GENERLY LEAVE IT ON AUTO TO KEEP THE BOAT DRY. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH MY SWITCH. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
