Maybe it's OK if not used much, but if it's for a shower sump or something where it is going to be actuated quite often, based on my experience, don't expect it to last more than a couple of years even with weekend only use.

Had one in the boat for 11 years. Just got a replacement due to the fact that the float started to stick. Not a bad run for 11 years, that's why I replaced it with the same unit. Also very reasonable cost.

I wired the switch as per the instructions, does not turn on my Attwood S500 Sahara pump.
