Front section of seat cushion flips up to function as a leaning post. Heavy padded verticle surface area gives good support to legs. Seat arms provide excellent lateral support. Included adjustable slider allows 6'' of fore and aft movement. Included 18'' high pedistal is mounted on a 9'' base. For safe operation, pedestal should be thru-bolted to the deck using all stainless hardware.

I used this seat as a captain's helm seat in my flybridge. I flanked this chair with two Todd standard seat chairs and they are all on slider/swivels and provide more usage options for my living space. They look great!
