Comments about CMC CMC PT-130 TILT&TRIM W/O GAUGE:

the cmc130 works well and doesn't appear to be a clumbsy add-on. It is much less expensive than OEM. It would be perfect if the original wiring could be used to control the unit. Perhaps CMC could provide specifics on alternative how-to-wire the unit to the manufacturers controls rather than a separate toggle switch that is used currently.

Comments about CMC CMC PT-130 TILT&TRIM W/O GAUGE:

When I bought the boat, I did not notice that it did not have a tilt % trim. First, I looked on the internet to look for a trim that would fit the motor, and I found that what was available was expensive and not guaranteed. While researching, the GMC was recommended to me numerous times by other owners. I am 64 years old and have very little experience with marine motors. I spent $12 on construction of an A-frame and removed the 85 Force Motor; I then installed the GMC myself, which took approximately 3 hours. I then reintalled the 85 Force motor and have been having fun boating ever since. After 35 years, I am even water-skiing again! [...] If only now Boat World could help me remember how to get up on that "one" ski! Thanks Boat World!!!!
