Use for night navigation on huge, stumpy Toledo Bend Reservoir.Cuts through fog better than the 1,000,000 candle power on board, but isn't much brighter on a clear night. Overall was disappointed at the light output for a 3 million spotlight. Also draws the seperate marine battery down way faster than the 1 million does.

This light works real great for us while running at night finding Day Markers and shorelines in tight areas that we fish in. Has a good solid beam without all the glare. It reaches out there and lights up the world. GPS's are great for running but sometimes they will leave you a little to close for comfort to those day markers. It is nice to be able to spot them from a safe distance. This light allows you to do just that from a looooooong distance. You can see several at a time in some places.

Light is bright and easy to use. Included storgae bag protects the light well. I have a Go Light but this is good to have onboard for quick side lighting.
