Comments about CSI Speco CSI Speco Vision Series LED Navigation Light:

Installed this 2-mile LED sidelight, deck mount kit, white, and never got a chance to use it at night. Total run time (less than 5 hours) was at the dock in "test mode". This week, I noticed that the wires were getting hot and the lights were not illuminating, so I changed out my connectors, suspecting corrosion or incomplete connections in the butt connectors. Upon inspection, the housing was too hot to touch. When I opened the case, the internals pulled away from the base like melted cheese. Glad that this total failure happened at the dock, rather than a situation where souls would have their lives placed in peril.
I expected far better performance and dependability from this advanced design, but glad that I caught this unit early in the failure, rather than far offshore where I really need navigation lighting.
Your experience may differ, but this product almost started a fire on my boat.
