This and the red/white combo light are much better than two or three other types of LED lights I have. Brighter and the red/white is great for night. Make sure you use the screws that came with it or similar or the light won't go in the fixture.

I was looking to replace incandescent lamps. I was looking for combination white/red for night nav. This light fit the bill. I did run into difficulty with wiring leads getting into the way of securing the light as surface mount. Otherwise no problem that a little patience cant fix.

i put one in my head on my liveaboard sailboat and it works great although I wish it had a little more light output.
