I bought this for a 35 ft cruising sailboat to use over the side because a transom ladder would interfere with dinghy and davits. It works, but it is just too flimsy and too short to use except in an emergency. Also it is too narrow for adults. I wanted something wider and sturdier. My wife won't even try to use this as it feels like it will break at any moment. Don't waste your money on this, unless you want a kiddie ladder.
