These are very easy to install. I installed them on the bare bunk boards (without carpet), so the screws were perfect. The carpets would scratch the bottom paint and I had to push hard to get the boat off the trailer. With these, no scratches and being very slippery, the boat goes on and off the trailer very easily.

My Nauticraft Encore pedal boat sits high on a trailer to accommodate two keels. The boat is short, so the trailer is short, too. At a shallow launch, it's hard to get far enough out to cover the rails with water. With this product, I have actually launched and recovered my boat without having the rails in the water at all!
