I own a Cobalt runabout. Cobalt wanted [$] for this same item. The Cobal staff is stainless steel (this is not), but the included hardware is exactly alike. What a difference in the price.

My son gave me a pennant to fly aboard my Cobia
center console fishing boat. The telescoping flag
pole I bought from you was just as represented in
your catalog. It looks great and I'm proud to install it every time we go boating.
Comments about SeaSense SeaSense Telescoping Flag Pole:
I purchased the flag pole and flag for my husband's valentine but with weather; we did not begin using it until May - we have almost lost the pole and flag due to the fact that it does not fit the hole the light pole occupies. We put it in the front hole so we could at least see it when it fell out - but no fun to keep picking up a flag pole and sticking it back in[...] I really appreciate this forum to express my displeasure for a product that looks good but doesn't work.

We went about a mile to where we were going to ski and the flag and pole were gone. I tightened the eccentric cam very tight or so I thought.

Comments about SeaSense SeaSense Telescoping Flag Pole:
Lost ours w/flag on the first trip. It fit fine, but it doesn't have a screw in base, only a cam-adjustment to kind of wedge it in. Never exceeded 25mph as we had bimini up...don't know if vibration loosened it or just the wind pressure. It would work fine at slow speeds, just don't plane with it. Also appeared to sink...we looked for 20 minutes.
