Don't read the other review below me, he doesn't know what he's talking about. You can't even catch a 20# Yellowtail. They maximum weight they reach is about 4#.Anyways.This reel is great. I go Dolphin fishing all of the time and this reel has had it's fair share of catches. I have it spooled with 20# line, about 390-400 yards of mono and I haven't had any problems, none at all. The part where you reel in is large enough that I can grip it easily. The drag setting is large enough so I can adjust it while that fish is pulling off line. What's really neat is the live bait switch. I hook a Pilchard onto a circle hook, cast that baby out, flip the switch and the fish can swim freely (of course with some drag pressure) like he doesn't have a hook in him, which is great. The Dolphin snatch it up, I let him run for a few seconds, flip that switch and the reel does the rest of the work.Just get this. You won't regret it, unless you plan on spending [$] on something else. Spinning reels don't get better than this.
About half were caught with this reel

I bought this reel for a 3 day trip for
yellowtail, and dorado.
The reel looked good, and worked fine at first.
Got my first two 20 lb yellowtail on board, then my next strike, the bail did not engage when I cranked the handle. The fish pulled so fast, that I bird nested the reel, and snapped off the fish.
I got the line fixed, but the bail still came down hard, it took a lot of torque to drop the bail. It works fine if you pull it down by hand.
This reel is great for surf fishing with 15lb test. Not a good boat reel for anything bigger than kelp bass.
