These are perfect for occasional "recreational crabbing" with the kids. Whether in the Pacific, Gulf of Mexico, or Atlantic: Just attach a 2-4 oz weight, a string/rope, and a piece of cheap chicken. If there are crabs nearby, you'll catch them. These are slightly larger and the same quality as similar crab nets I've owned and used for 25 years.

This is by no means a competator for the ProMar hoop nets. Although it does make a nice drop net for pier fishing.

We use the crab traps to catch crawfish with. They work wonderful, and we think that they are a great thrifty purchase! We wish that the string that constucts the netting was a bit stronger though as the crawfish over time tend to chew through with their claws.

It is used for crabbing,very easy to handle.
The bait holder is great. No chance for seals to steal your bait.
I really didn't find anything that I didn't like about it.
